Corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Policy

The commitment to the environment, employee safety and health are one of the important foundations of GruhaShilpi. We always strive to ensure working conditions are clean, orderly and safe for our employees. At the same time we strive to maintain and protect the resources we are privileged to use and protect the environment. Corporate Social Responsibility

We at Gruhashilpi believe in making a positive societal impact with our CSR activities. We undertake this by making lasting contributions that communities and individuals can benefit from. We believe society will be strong only when individuals are empowered and the underprivileged are uplifted.

Here are a few of the areas our CSR activities are currently focussed on:

Education:

Support governmental and non-governmental education initiatives at school, college and university level, including for vocational education.

Health:

Providing health awareness and education in backward communities. Supporting local medical centres with necessary equipment for seamless functioning.

Social Empowerment:

Providing employment to individuals from underprivileged background, especially women who are without any financial support.

Skill Development:

Promoting skill based education and thereby increasing the scope of employability in backward communities and help their livelihood.

Environmental Sustainability:

Ensuring environmental safety and sustainability, ecological balance, protecting flora and fauna and contributing to animal welfare.

Quality Policy

GruhaShilpi boasts of a global standard Quality Management System and is constantly in the process of updating and improving our services, thereby delivering better value and services. We adhere to strict time schedules, economics with complete end-to-end planning at every step.

We intent to achieve this with:

  • Promoting better coordination between architects/ designers and abiding by applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Improvement in quality of construction by using standard materials, machinery, equipment, proper working methods and skilled personnel.
  • Mechanisation of construction processes wherever and whenever possible.
  • Offering training to technical and non-technical staff to improve their skills and upgrade their knowledge.

Whistleblower Policy

GruhaShilpi values the integrity, honesty, dedication and loyalty of its employees and these values are part and parcel of the decisions we make everyday. They set standards for the organization and for employee conduct. To foment a positive work culture we have set up a whistle blower policy. It provides a platform and a mechanism for our employees and to voice genuine concerns, grievances and complaints about unprofessional conduct without the fear of reprisal.

Employees can directly complain to the head of the organization or the assigned Whistleblower Officer from the Human Resources Department.

Employees can report the following under the whistleblower policy:

  • Violation of restraint of trade legislation.
  • Failure to comply with other legal obligations.
  • Violation of the Code of Conduct.
  • Criminal activities.
  • Fraud, forgery or defalcation.
  • Bribery or corruption.
  • Provision of misleading information or the falsification of financial or other records.
  • Breaches of copyright, patents and licences.
  • Violation of environmental legislation.
  • Violations of human rights, of child rights, use of child labour, workplace harassment, unfair treatment of employees.
  • Insider trading in the company's shares.
  • Falsification of statutory reports and records, including the company's financial statements and accounting records.
  • Breaches of other policies and procedures (including, without limitation, breaches of financial controls and reporting requirements) and Concealing or overlooking any of the above.
